Aries tend to be more direct and straightforward than the other zodiac signs, and that definitely carries into their love life. This sign knows upfront what they want out of a relationship, and they tend to make it clear to their partner, as well. Aries thrive in relationships, but due to their independent nature they despise codependency and and can feel suffocated by their significant other.

Straightforward and independent

When it comes to love, Taurus signs are patient, trustworthy, and reliable. They enjoy stability, and would much rather be in a committed relationship than a more casual situation. Out of all the signs, Taurus are the most dependable and will always come through for their significant other. Taurus also tend to be excellent providers, spoiling their partners with lavish gifts and affection.

Stable and committed

Entertaining, talkative, and kind, Geminis are always lovely and charming partners. They enjoy chatting late into the night about a number of topics, and those in a relationship with a Gemini will rarely run out things to talk about. Though a potential partner need not be as extroverted as this sign, Geminis still want a significant other who will fit into their social circle and keep up with their energetic lifestyle.

Fun and easygoing

Cancers enjoy consistency. They aren’t the biggest fans of surprises or life changes, so they want their love life to be comfortable and steady. Cancers do best in exclusive romantic relationships, and they make faithful and devoted companions. This sign will stay with their partner through all the ups and downs.

Steady and devoted

Leos are a proud and passionate sign ruled by the heart above all else. They spoil their lovers by showering them with gifts and affection, and they expect to have these actions reciprocated. Because Leos are a very proud sign, they have a low tolerance for disrespect. They do bounce back from disagreements quickly, however, especially if they are flattered.

Heartfelt and passionate

True to their analytical and detail-oriented nature, Virgos have extremely high standards when it comes to relationships. Settling is just not an option for a Virgo, which works out in their favor because they will rarely feel trapped in an undesirable relationship. Virgos have extremely high expectations for their relationships and they put in a lot of work to keep themselves and their partner happy.

Libras are full of love and thrive in relationships. Because they are total romantics at heart, Libras enjoy the idea of sharing their life with another person, and they tend to work best in unions. Libras enjoy being appreciated, and they are eager to show affection for their partner, as well. Libras are also attentive listeners, willing to go to great lengths to show their partners they care.

Though Scorpios are deeply passionate, they do not open themselves to the possibility of romantic relationships often. When they do, however, they make very strong and faithful partners. Scorpios are fiercely protective of their loved ones and will scorn anyone who wrongs the person they care about. They also have very strong values that they expect their potential partner to share with them.

Sagittarius hate being tied down. They’re free-spirited and energetic, and they are slow to relinquish their freedom and access to options. However, Sagittarius can work well with someone who shares their huge appetite for adventure and exploration. This passionate sign dislikes feeling too dependent, but they do love sharing their hobbies and interests with the right partner.

Capricorns are cautious lovers, and are not usually willing to jump into a relationship right away. They tend to weigh the odds of every situation, and that includes getting involved with someone romantically. Once a Capricorn decides to commit to someone, however, they are very protective of that person and they go to great lengths to ensure their happiness.

The ever-optimistic Aquarius always seeks true love in a relationship. In their mind, the perfect partner is someone who can be a best friend and a faithful partner. Though Aquarius tend to seek soul mates and commitment, it’s still very important for them to maintain their own interests and social circle independent of their partner.

Pisces is by far the most romantic of the zodiac signs. Whether it’s through flowers, chocolate, or song, Pisces thrive on grandiose gestures of love. This sign enjoys communicating their feelings, and they love to have this communication reciprocated by their romantic partner. Pisces are also very sensitive to their environment and are easily affected by the emotions of their significant other.
